Despite Trump’s oldest daughter has been encouraging US companies to pledge to hire American workers after her company was accused of using foreign workers to make its products abroad, she has to close down her fashion business after the brand suffered a backlash when her father became US president.

“After 17 months in Washington, I do not know when or if I will ever return to the business, but I do know that my focus for the foreseeable future will be the work I am doing here in Washington,”
she said and explained that making this decision now is the only fair outcome for her team and business partners.
