MSNBC, who has never really been a best friend to anybody, has just created more enemies. From making sexist remarks against Hillary Clinton to kicking Jesse Ventura off of the air for not supporting the Iraq war (yes, you read that right), MSNBC has always found plenty of people to piss off. The network just seems to like being hated more than be than it likes being liked. It is about that simple. Chris Matthews, a person who nobody ever thought provided any journalistic integrity, just sank the network to a whole new low. Chris Matthews was caught, and when I say caught I mean he was on his own show, saying that the cadets at West Point were Obama’s Enemies.

The funniest part about all this, just about the only thing that the President directly controls are our armed forces. If our military is perceived as Obama’s enemy that is a huge problem. Can we actually boycott MSNBC’s advertisers this time? Nobody watches them anyway, they probably would enjoy the hate press.

But really… did we expect anything else from Mr. Matthews? No.
