Global Warming… is Dead. Soon to Follow: Mainstream Media

The lack of media attention to this so called “climategate” is unbelievable. I do not even know if we can even call it “climategate”, as nobody seems to acknowledge that it has happened. Of course Fox News has brought it up, as well as numerous talk show hosts but, there has been no trace of coverage almost anywhere else. When searching for climate stories, almost the only thing you can find is major coverage of Obama wanting to cut emissions down 20%. On CBS News absolutely no trace of climategate, but we did find this… How Capitalism Failed Us. Of course we found that!
The American people are not as stupid as the media would hope they are. The majority of Americans blamed global warming on planetary trends, not humans. I cannot wait for new polls to come out after all this has been uncovered about the farce that is, global warming. The best thing about about this is the emails originally said to be hacked, actually may have been released by someone internally! That is right, the NYT will not print the emails because they were meant to be “private” (this has never stopped them before), but they were actually, possibly, meant to be released! This is getting more insane by the day, and the media is not reporting it.
I think the fact that the media is trying to cover this up, will completely backfire on them. The media loves end of the world stories, why would they want to kill off global warming? The majority of people will eventually find out about these emails, and the effect will cause the eventual damning of the media.
I have to applaud the Guardian’s George Monibot (yes the one that has said we are all going to die from global warming for years) stated, “It’s no use pretending this isn’t a major blow. The emails extracted by a hacker from the climatic research unit at the University of East Anglia could scarcely be more damaging. I am now convinced that they are genuine, and I’m dismayed and deeply shaken by them.”

Precisely why this whole thing shouldn’t have been a real surprise to any thinking man or woman. If we really do have an “important scientific debate” about what we need to do to save the planet, the name-calling would have been pointless and futile from the very beginning. Assholes and idiots can be right about things, and are in fact right quite often. (We certainly were this time!)
Try this for an exercise: When’s the last time you heard a pro-climate-change advocate defend just the argument? And steer clear entirely from describing undesirable attributes in his opposition? It doesn’t happen. It doesn’t happen, because they cannot stick to the subject at hand. The evidence is not working in their favor like they say it is. So they go ad hom instead, because it’s the only avenue open to them.
Come to think of it, if that was the definition of “asshole” it would work very well. So who’s an asshole now?

I will defend just the argument. The scientific community are not 100% behind mann’s hockey stick in the first place, independent analysis such as Viau et al. 2006 for example certainly support the existence of a MWP but that it was around the same temperature as the 1950’s were. A time at which it was known that Greenland was melting (1950’s that is)(but you should be able to note the relevance). Whether we in this field trust tree ring reconstructions or not it is not the be all end all to the argument. Everyone jumps on the “hide the decline” comment when anyone who knows anything about the field knows its referring to the divergence problem in tree rings… My evidence doesn’t need to come from internet chatrooms like some of you, mine comes from the Accelerating Ice losses from Antarctica which have doubled since 1996 even. It takes a lot of a climatic disturbance for large scale melting to occur in all submarine basins in Antarctica… Portions are melting or have collapsed which have existed since before the holocene climatic optimum… that is proof enough for a person who is educated.

Proof of what? That you are so educated that you cannot elucidate the argument? Nobody ever said the climate doesn’t change. The argument is this: there is no scientific proof that carbon dioxide produced by man is the proximate cause of climate changes.

Amazing!
The data are in the faces of Man-Made Climate Change supporters and they still refuse to acknowledge the evidence.
These same scientists threatened my job with the US Geological Survey when trying to publish a study showing with higher confidence that global temperature changes were natural and caused solely by Earth’s physical processes. Additionally, these same scientists would not discuss or refute the science and facts presented. Instead, they took two days to personally insult and attack me.
I always knew that when man-made global climate change was shown as insignificant that people would lose faith, note the word “FAITH”, in science. But this event and exposure is by far worse for the science community; but “Truth is the daughter of Time (Francis Bacon)”.
Several USGS scientists got fired for the same thing when discussing data manipulation for models developed for the Nevada Nuclear Test Site. But no outcry and defense for those scientists?
IF you see no problem with this and not wondering if the public has been misled by these scientists, then you are not scientists, you’re in denial, and you stand for no moral principles.
On 25 November 2009 at 12:15 PM, I tried to post comments on RealClimate.org concerning this matter. That website refused the posts because they know me; another attempt to silence objective parties and since they were the ones that threatened my job…..
Now, Al Gore PUBLICLY states Mantle temperatures are MILLIONS of DEGREES. The man doesn’t have the morality, decency, and/or courage to publicly admit he was WRONG. SO WHY SHOULD these scientists admit they are wrong? They can’t, because if they do, the gig is up.

The MSM is trying to cover it up, and even Obummer will go to Copenhagen to sign whatever they shove across the table for him to sign.
Facts are irrelevant for this band of cretins who are hell-bent on pushing forth their agenda based upon the tenets of their irrational new religion.

Will everyone clamoring for an investigation before our gathering in Copenhagen please calm down.
The MSM is on notice not to rock the boat by reporting on the IPCC (In-the-bag Panel for Climate Control). This just can’t be postponed. It’s about redistributing wealth among countries and into the pockets of a select few Co2 czars. Oh, I know it appears now that there is much uncertainty into man’s contribution to climate change now that the CRU research has been uncloaked. What is certain by my calculations is that billions of $$$$ will change hands and a fortunate few will become instantly wealthy beyond imagining if this can be rammed down everyone’s throat before real investigations are made into the CRU allegations. Since Phil & I are a couple of the lucky ones who orchestrated, er, organized this charade, er conference, please STFU until after Copenhagen.

Stop bitching, take responsibility and take action. Stop all donations to the political party(s) responsible for this fraud. Stop donations to all environmental groups which funded this Global Warming propaganda campaign with our money, especially The Environmental Defense Fund. START donations to Oklahoma’s Senator Inhofe. Write your state and federal representatives demanding wall to wall investigations of government sponsored funding and coordination of this and related propaganda campaigns and demand indictments of those responsible. Write your state and federal Attorneys General demanding Al Gore and others conducting Global Warming/Climate Change racketeering and mail fraud operations be brought to justice, indicted, tried, convicted and jailed. That’s what I have done in response to this outrageous violation of the public trust. Think of the consequences if you do nothing! For one, the UK is becoming the poster child for George Orwell’s “1984” and the US government’s sponsorship of this worldwide Global Warming propaganda campaign puts it in a class with the failed Soviet Union’s relentless violation of the basic human right to truthful government generated information. Given ClimateGate’s burgeoning revelations of outrageous government misconduct and massive covert misinformation, what are the chances that this Administration’s National Health Care sales campaign is anywhere near to the truth?
