1984 is Here

For those of you that have followed my writings in this blog and on our main site know, that my greatest goal is to restore our civil liberties. Civil liberties that we are entitled to, mind you. I have gotten heat from this from both sides of the aisle, something that has always irked me. I have been banned from one political forum because I attacked Obama’s “change” of mind in regard to the Patriotact or the wiretap bill. I have been attacked by conservatives for my call to end the Patriotact.

Hey liberals, are you not the same people who attacked the patriotact when it was in place?

Hey right wingers, are you not the same people who want to keep your gun rights and fear that Obama and Polosi are going to take them away from you?

I feel I am a conservative, but I do not think the average “conservative,” is actually a conservative. Calling for something like the Patriot Act is more liberal than anything I have ever heard of.  How much increased (liberal) spending did our police departments or federal departments get to enjoy? Still enjoy? Can we just bring back the good name that conservatism once had?

I am sick of all this. We NEED our rights given to us by our founding fathers. This post is a response to an article I read from an Associated Press writer featured on Yahoo! news. In this article it talks about how over 1 million people are just randomly searched in the street. I dont like it when I am patted down when I go to a Patriots game (very patriotic, get it?) let alone “randomly.” I urge you to read this article. Next time a cop stops you for no reason and asks to search your car, or to pat you down… scream like bloody hell. No they are not “just doing their job” they are treading on our rights. Their job is to protect law abiding citizens. You do not decide who is law abiding by doing random searches, breathalysers, or pat downs.
