Just further proof President Obama’s administration can be bought. When ABC hosted President Obama’s healthcare “conversation” without an opposing side… it was ABC’s form of lobbying. While Obama maintains the PR stunt of rejecting lobbyists, the backscratching in Washington is at an all new level.

When the President went on his latest PR blitz, he failed to include FOX or Fox News. If you do not play the administration’s games and air all of his speeches, then you will not be “rewarded” with an interview. It is by no means any network’s obligation to air any presidential speech other than for the utmost urgency. You can say that Fox was “playing politics,” but the network was just “playing business” and airing counter programming could be a very lucrative move. Fox News aired the speech in its entirety, so it is not as if they didn’t acknowledge the President.

Of course, Barack Obama is entertaining the idea of bailing out the newspapers; he is scared to death of the blogosphere. The newspapers, in their current form, will never be able to compete with the internet and its many ways of distribution. Shaun Booth wrote a great article entitled “The Desperate Media Establishment Lashes out at Craigslist,” which deserves a read.

Why has nobody else realized that the media’s love for Obama is not because they “love Obama,” it is because they need Obama. Who was really surprised at the idea of a “newspaper bailout,” Anyone?

Jay Leno vs Conan vs Stupidity

I am with team COCO!

Jay is a "really nice guy"

I don't really care... But NBC is still stupid.
