I’m a racist, he’s a racist, she’s a racist, we’re all racist, hey!

I attended the Rally in Washington this past weekend, and I assure you I am not a racist. When I came back and told some family members about my trip… Well, this is how the conversation went.

“Are you a teabagger?,you must be a teabagger?” In which I respond
“You must be watching some Rachel Maddow”,
“Nope, are you a teabagger? That’s what you are called, right?”

I was then told that teabaggers were racist, and the protesters at the rally only came out because they hate blacks. WTF!?!

So what… I hated George W. Bush, because he is a southerner?

How do you explain the hate towards Clinton, Bush I or II, Carter, Nixon, or any other president for that matter. NEWSFLASH! Every single president was despised by one person or the other. It just so happens that our current President is black…

Look I cannot even argue this, the argument is so stupid… I thought the left was supposed to be scholarly.

I was banned from Democratic Underground yesterday for talking against Obama’s continuation of the Bush administration’s Patriot Act. I was called a racist.

That’s what happens when you get incompetent and power hungry people in Washington. They will use anything to throw you off. I thought Bush was a idiot, this is getting real dirty now. What’s happening to America. Wake up.

Were you carrying one of those witch-doctor signs? Or a sign that read something about going back to Kenya? Or one comparing President Obama to a zoo animal?

    Nothing racist about those, right?

Or were you just railing that the President is a Marxist-Socialist-Fascist-usurper? 90% of the teabaggers couldn’t tell you what those words mean, but they’re happy to tote those signs.

    Which one were you?

Actually… I was the one protesting to get out of Iraq and Afganastan, or did you forget about that cause as well? Did you forget that our leader, actually DID lie to us? I tell you what, I was not alone at the rally supporting that cause…

I also saw no “kenya signs” or “witch doctor signs”… Take a look on our main site for pictures of the rally. You may be supprised. Infact, for every sign attacking obama, there was a sign attacking Paulson, and Nancy Pelosi .

Man, remember those Bush as Monkey pictures? LOL funny stuff.

Other funny thing, People who Teabag (or like to be Teabagged) trying to explain to the Tea Party People what Teabagging is and why they should be ashamed to be associated with tea rofl. Wonder how the fake indians in Boston way back when would have reacted to the teabag comments?

History just isn’t how we learned it.

Banned from DU, huh? Well, that’s a good start, although I would question why you ever signed up there in the first place.

Now go take a shower and clean from your machine any cookies, cached pages, and cooties.

Seriously – calling you (or anyone else) a racist is simply a sign they have run out of valid points and have no real ammunition against the truth. It is a desperate last-ditch attempt to shut you up. Nothing more. When all else fails, throw the racist bomb.

The great thing about all of this “racist” name calling is that the word “racist” is quickly losing all its power. Within a few weeks (or sooner), it will carry absolutely no meaning.

Meanwhile, for insight as to who the REAL racist are, check out the blog of Lloyd Marcus, who graciously sang for us in Washington DC during the rally:

I’ve gone through this recently too. Apparently, since I disagree with the policy premises of the current, I have become a anti-black racist.

This from my mother, who has known me and my support for people and cultures of all kinds since I was old enough to understand the differences.

There’s nothing I can do but shake my head in disbelief and sympathize with you.

No, but you may just well be a veggist. I have heard not bit of support for the plight of brocolli or the prejudice asparagus receives due to it’s unfortunate odor. Shame on you.

About 500,000 people were demonstrating peacefully against the expansion of government; a uniquely American and positive thing.

There were probably nine of those nasty signs. It seems to me they are far outweighed by the Bush is Hitler drumbeat we heard for the past eight years; deal with it.

The pejorative “Teabagger” is juvenile and mean and is to be expected from the hateful leftists. It is the same as their catchall accusations of racism if someone dares to disagree with them.

The accusation of racism is the last refuge of the left-wing, anti-American, anti-liberty, pro-government dependence, pro-regulation scoundrels who have no argument that is based on facts or historical experience.

well said…i am trying to raise my mixed grandson to respect himself and others. Obama’s vision is not my vision for him. I want him to grow up knowing the constitution means something and to have all freedom it represents…I dont want him living a life just for the sake of paying taxes to fulfill some other persons vision. If the light of freedom is shut out here then it is shut out for the entire planet. this republic has always stood for freedom and we are losing it.

  • It’s the Saul Alinsky playbook. Isolate the opposition and shift the attention to them with smear tactics. It works so well that the “blind fanatic” buys it hook line and sinker and does it as well.

This “racist” tactic is the very reason why Obama was chosen to be the progressive mouthpiece. He is the “untouchable” trumpeter of the left wing.

It’s a facade, and the light of truth always penetrates a facade. You see, the dishonest are not loyal to each other. The rats always leave before the boat sinks. Rats always squeal.
