Chomsky announces that Obama is driving Taliban into Pakistan

Again with the normal disclaimer that Noam Chomsky’s diagnosis is mostly spot on, his prescription I usually wholeheartedly disagree with on many levels as far as his call for global government being the solution.
The outcome of Washington policies will lead to a new state between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Chomsky also touches on General McChrystal who recently took over the Afghanistan and the liklihood that he will use tactics that will continue to kill civilians.
He also touches on the Kashmir situation that is the elephant in the room between India and Pakistan.
He does bring forth the true central problem that faces the world at the moment and that is the nuclear threat that is mounting in both India and Pakistan.
Enjoy this great talk that was given recently in NYC on June 12th.
Note this clip is the beginning of the talk, you can find the subsequent clips in the right hand column on YouTube.

Ron Paul on socialized medicine

Ron Paul basically lays out how the free market would fix the problem of high medical costs more than a government takeover of medicine.

He believes that the quality of medicine will go down and the lines for emergency medicine will grow longer and ultimately hurt the citizens.

He also believes that physicians are a prime concern in driving up the cost of medicine because of the litigation that overwhelms the medical field which leads to a growing call for additional tests that in a free market system would not be necessary to cover the behinds of the physicians treating the patients.

“The fact that people are talking up the dollar is proof it is weak”

The same old truth coming from Peter Schiff. He makes a very good point that the only reason we have the likes of Secretary of the Treasury Geithner marching around the world saying how great the dollar is only to be laughed off the stage.

When Schiff says, “the whole thing is a giant farce” he could not be more on point.

He goes on to say that the leaders in China…etc know the real deal that the dollar is in real trouble because they are taking part in propping up the dollar, because they are just as afraid of the repercussions of the collapsing dollar as the US is itself.

If only we would have listened to Kucinich

You can tell that Brian Williams is almost embarrassed to even report this story. Gotta love the Jay-Z background music to start the segment-a obvious nod to the tone of the piece.
How to you justify? This is the simple question that Kucinich asks.
Now we have come to see how this has played out. And in short it has been devastating for the nation. Inflation is rampant and prices are skyrocketing while wages are remaining stagnant. This is the simple truth that nobody seems to want to deal with. Soon we will be experiencing and struggling through this tragic scenario. And then only better representatives in the House and Senate will be able to save us. Run Peter Schiff Run!

Peter Schiff tells Libertarian Party: ‘Libertarian Minded People in Office Through Republican Party’

You can watch the entire speech here.
On Saturday night Peter Schiff addressed the Libertarian Party convention in Connecticut. The tone of his speech was chilling. He was blunt with the Libertarian audience by telling them that the Libertarian Party has not sent a person to Congress since its inception over 40 years ago. And he said that with the economic crisis guaranteed to worsen, that we don’t have 40 more years to wait.
Essentially Schiff’s message is that Libertarians should use the Republican party as a way to infiltrate government. Peter Schiff himself is likely speaking from his own personal experience as he is soon likely to announce his candidacy for the US Senate.
